Phoenix National Slalom 8th leg at Robinsons Nova

THE eighth leg of the Phoenix National Slalom Series erupts this Sunday at Robinsons Novaliches. 

Powered by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate fully synthetic oil, the slalom event starts with the registration at 8 a.m. Unlimited practice runs are set from from 8 to 10 a.m. Drivers with practice coupons are the only ones who will be accommodated to have practice runs after 10 a.m. Free slalom clinics will be offered at 9 a.m.

Each participating driver will receive 4 liters (gallon) of Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil.

Organizers will continue holding the Slalom Too Class, wherein Clubman and experienced drivers can join. This class will not have a 360-degree turn and professional drivers are not allowed.

To accumulate points for the overall and class champions, contenders must use the specified Federal Tyres for at least nine or 75% of the series and possess the Automobile Association of the Philippines Clubman license. All drivers will be charged an additional one-time P300 per leg for the AAP Clubman License.

The National Slalom Event is affiliated with the AAP and FIA and is the longest-running motorsport discipline in the country. 

The 2017 RACE National Slalom  Series is presented by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil, with major sponsors Federal Tyres, Outlast Battery and Robinsons Novaliches. It is also supported by Starbright Body Kits, Auto Transporter; Aeromed, Cars Unlimited Fairview and Mark Young Racing, together with media partners Stoplight TV,  C! Magazine, Auto Car Magazine, Power Wheels Magazine and Ride and Drive Philippines.

Winners of the seventh leg last Aug. 13  will get their awards on Sunday. 

The ninth leg will be on Sept. 10 at NFA Compound Cabanatuan City, while the 2nd leg of the Phoenix Slalom Invitational is on Sept. 3 at Robinsons Calasiao Pangasinan.
