BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—Governor Carlos Padilla has formed a Provincial Advisory Committee to ensure the proper implementation of the national government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps in the province.
The PAC, formed through Executive Order No. C-304-A, provides a grievance machinery for the 4Ps as the provincial government has intensified its social protection program by expanding the coverage of the program to include more benefits and beneficiaries.
“This order updates and amends the previous EOs made by the previous administration so that the PAC membership can cater to more beneficiaries,” said Padilla as PAC chairman.
Members of the expanded PAC are the Sangguniang Panlalawigan’s chairperson on Health Committee, the provincial offices of Social Welfare and Development, Integrated Health, Planning and Development, Agriculture, Population, Nutrition, and the Office of the Governor.
It also includes DSWD Staff, 4Ps Regional Focal Person and provincial link, SWD Team Leader, Sustainable Livelihood Program Coordinator, Convergence Strategy of Bottom-Up Budgeting, and officials from the Department of Education, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Philippine Information Agency, Technical Education Skills and Development Authority, Department of Trade and Industry, the Philippine National Police, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, Department of Labor and Employment, and Department of Science and Technology.
