KUALA LUMPUR – Two-time gold medalist Daniel Parantac kicks off his quest for another mint when he campaigns in the wushu completion of the 29th Southeast Asian Games Sunday at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center here.
Coming off a knee injury, Parantac will shoot for his third gold medal when he joins Thornton Quieney Lou Sayan in the taolu men’s nandou+ngaun and tinjian competition starting 3 pm.
“As I’ve said, I want to win the gold medal this time because this could be my final SEA Games campaign,” said the University of Cordilleras alumnus.
Also seeing action for the Wushu Federation Philippines are Norlence Ardee Catolivo in men’s optional daoshu and Kimberly Macuha in the women’s optional jianshu finals.
