Uson says ‘yellows’ use trolls for Leni

Palace official on Saturday accused ‘yellows’ of employing trolls to make Vice President Leni Robredo win in an unofficial Twitter poll on who would be the next Social Welfare secretary.

In a Facebook post, sex guru-turned Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux “Mocha” Uson contested the results of a Twitter poll that she herself conducted last Friday, wherein Robredo led over two other possible contenders.

(The results only show that the yellows are organized. In the first hours of the poll, Leni wasn’t leading. But after a few hours, her votes rose and [the post] was re-tweeted of poser accounts.)

(I’m not saying that the entire poll was voted by Leni’s fake accounts, but these were retweeted all at the same time by fake accounts and were replied by their followers. These shows how are they well-organized in Twitter)

Uson claims that the organized efforts by the yellows were meant to “fight and discredit the government.”

I WANT TO MAKE THE DDS realize that unless we unite we will never win this battle,” the Palace official said.

Robredo led Uson’s poll with 82 percent of votes over another die-hard Duterte supporter, Social Welfare Assistant Secretary Lorraine Badoy at six percent and Nikki Prieto-Teodoro, wife of former Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, at 2 percent.

Those undecided or expressed a different pick is at 10 percent.

The highly-divisive 2016 presidential elections had shown the rise of some social media personalities accused of propagating “fake news,” including Uson herself, some trolls and other hoax websites mimicking the name and logo of legitimate websites, but peddling unverified news.
