THE third and final leg of this year’s Philippine Racing Commission Triple Crown Stakes slated this Sunday at Santa Ana Park in Naic, Cavite promises to be the most thrilling race of the year as Sepfourteen appears poised to capture a sweep of the premier stakes race after winning the first two legs of the series.
Nine runners will compete in the 2000-meter race, namely Batang Poblacion, Brilliance, Golden Kingdom, Greatwall, Hiway One, Mount Pulag, Pangalusian Island, Sepfourteen and Smokin Saturday.
A breeder’s purse of P100,000 will be awarded to the breeder of the winning horse.
A sweep by Sepfourteen of this year’s Triple Crown means an additional prize money of P500,000 coming to his owner SC Stockfarm, Inc.
Guaranteed prizes for the race are 1st–P600,000; 2nd–P225,000; 3rd– P125,000 and; 4th–P50,000.
Breeder’s purse for the breeder of the winning horse is P30,000.
Entries are Battle Chacha, Caloocan Zap, Kingship, Lemonada, Oceanside, Puerto Prinsesa, Salt and Pepper, Sikat, Stravinsky and Temecula.
Prizes for this race are as follows: 1st–P300,000; 2nd–P112,500; 3rd–P62,500, and 4th–P25,000.
Breeder’s purse is P15,000.
