TV host/actress joins the family of the Philippines’ most trusted brand for generic medicine
The good news on actress Camille Prats-Yambao just keeps pouring these days. It started early this year when she got married to childhood friend John ‘VJ’ Yambao after four years of being in a long distance relationship. It didn’t take long after that when she announced via her social media account that she’s pregnant with her second child. Her firstborn, Nathan, was by her late husband, Anthony Linsangan.
Throughout these beautiful blessings, her showbiz career, albeit on a break from acting to give way for her pregnancy, continues to flourish as she co-hosts GMA News TV’s lifestyle program, Mars. She also helps in the family businesses (they own Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Batangas and Divine Angels Montessori in Cainta).
Today, Prats-Yambao has another good fortune that landed on her lap. Recently, she signed to become the brand ambassador of RiteMED for Kids. “I am very happy to be part of the country’s most trusted brand for generic medicine. In fact, my family prayed for this opportunity. It is my first time to endorse a healthcare product, and I am very proud to be associated with a brand that is known for quality. What makes me happier is that I get to work on something that is for kids as I have Nathan, and very soon, will be having a baby girl as well,” she shared.
RiteMED General Manager Vincent Patrick L. Guerrero is most pleased with the newest member of the brand. “We chose Camille because we believe she represents the core values of RiteMED: she’s highly credible, caring, family-oriented, and consistent with all other brand ambassadors of RiteMED and also with the RiteMED brand.”
RiteMED for Kids is a product category of RiteMED Philippines, Inc. Under its portfolio are four hero products: RiteMED Multivitamins + CGF syrup that helps in child’s growth, RiteMED Ascorbic Acid syrup for child’s daily Vitamin C, RiteMED Zinc-CTM syrup (combination of Vitamin C and Zinc) for child’s additional protection, and RiteMED Paracetamol syrup for child’s fever and pain. RiteMED for Kids also has prescribed medicines and covers zero to 12 years old, for both ethical and over-the-counter medicines.
According to Guerrero, “Launching a product line for kids is in line with RiteMED’s advocacy of providing the Filipino people access to quality and affordable healthcare.” He said, “We’re providing a wider choice of healthcare products for their children.”
Guerrero is also proud to announce that RiteMED for Kids is better tasting compared to its competitors. “We conducted a stringent taste test on all our products. Taste is very critical for parents and it is also the main challenge for the pediatric category because the taste of medicine should be acceptable to the children.”
“That is so true!” Prats-Yambao agreed. She added, “Most parents are having a hard time giving vitamins and medicines to their kids because of the taste. It becomes a struggle, not just for the parents but also for the kids. It’s really difficult, at least it used to be because now there’s RiteMED for Kids.”
With her on board RiteMED for Kids, Guerrero is confident that people will see the analogy between the brand and the endorser. “People believe in RiteMED because it is credible in delivering quality and affordable healthcare. Camille has been recognized as a strong yet graceful young woman who has been a devoted mom to Nathan. Like other moms, she always wants to provide what’s right for her son,” said Guerrero.
Pratas-Yambao, who is also joined by her son in the ad campaign, can’t be more grateful for the opportunity, “It gives me peace of mind to know that there is a brand like RiteMED that can help me and other mothers out there to make right decisions in choosing the best vitamins and medicine for our kids. I can never compromise the quality of the products that I choose for my family.”
