Government forces have lost 21 lives, while the number of civilians killed remains at 19.

AFP Spokesperson Restituto Padilla says, the military now controls 90 percent of Marawi City.

But local reports indicate, people in the city are not free to roam around and that government troops designate the places where civilians may stay so they can be safe.

The military has recovered high powered firearms from the areas where encounters with terrorists took place.

Soldiers have also seized documents which supposedly prove that Maute’s attack of Marawi City was well-planned.

Military offensives in Marawi have resumed as early as 6 in the morning on Monday.

As of noon time, no air strikes have been conducted.

Gunshots are heard across the city.

Humanitarian missions entering Marawi are instructed to first seek permission from the Provincial Capitol.

The groups carrying relief goods are asked to identify the area where they will bring their supplies.
