State of calamity has been declared in Cagayan de Oro City.
The city has been experiencing heavy floodings as rainwaters continue to flow from the mountains of Bukidnon.
Local authorities say, nearly 1,000 affected families have been evacuated so far.
Forced evacuation is being implemented until now.
Floods in some areas are chest-deep.
At least 18 barangays are submerged.
One fatality has been recorded in CDO.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) says, rainwaters from the mountains of Bukidnon and Lanao del Sur are also bringing floods to portions of Zamboanga del Norte, Lanao del Sur and Sultan Kudarat.
A total of four fatalities have been recorded in areas in Mindanao that were hit by flashfloods and landslides.
