TRECE MARTIRES, Cavite—Three men were arrested after getting drunk then stabbing a responding police officer during a commotion they caused on Friday at Sunshine Ville in Barangay Cabuco here.
Police apprehended Gilbert Man-On, his brother Arnel and their cousin Greg Man-On after they ganged up on PO1 Jesus Alday, who suffered stab wounds on his back while trying to pacify them at a party of residents of Sunshine Ville, officers of the Trece Martires Component City Police Station said.

The suspects tried to escape, but PO3 Francis Bibauco and some barangay tanods arrested them. Alday was rushed to MV Santiago Medical Hospital and is now in stable condition.
