COME and join the 12th and final leg of the Phoenix National Slalom Series on Sunday at Robinsons Starmills in Pampanga.
Registration starts from 8 a.m. onwards, while the open practice runs are slated from 8 to 10 a.m.
Official practice runs of the event powered by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate fully synthetic oil, will start at 11 a.m. with each driver getting only one run regardless of how many classes or cars a participant is entered.
A free slalom clinic is scheduled from 9 to 10 a.m.
Each driver will receive four liters of Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil.
Winners will accumulate points for the overall and class champions, but contenders must use the specified Federal Tyres for at least nine or 75% of the series and possess the Automobile Association of the Philippines Clubman license.
All drivers will be charged an additional one-time fee of P300 per leg for the AAP Clubman License.
The national slalom events are affiliated with the AAP and FIA and is the longest-running motorsports discipline in the country.
Now leading the series is Milo Rivera of Tough Gear, the 2015 national slalom champion, Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Team Big Chill, and Dion Ortiz and Richard Gallardo of the AF Racing Team.
Winners of the 11th leg will also be awarded on Sunday.
The 2016 National Slalom Grand Series is presented by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil, with major sponsors Federal Tyres, Outlast Battery, Robinsons Starmills and supported by Aeromed, Starbright Body Kits, Auto Transporter, Hotel Sogo and media partners Stoplight TV, C!
