A THREE-GAME bill highlights the first provincial outing of the 2016 UNTV Cup, with action taking place this Sunday at the Strike Gymnasium in Bacoor, Cavite.
The games are expected to be tough with four teams facing a-must win situation in Group A.
The winners will have a chance to become one of the Top 4 teams that will proceed to the second round of eliminations.
The Ombudsman Graft Busters are in the running with their 2-3 record as they clash with the BFP Firefighters at 3:30 p.m.
The Firefighters are trying to stay in the running with their 3-2 slate, sharing the same card with the AFP Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers will remain in contention if they get past the Malacanang Kamao, unbeaten in five games, at 5 p.m.
The MMDA Black Wolves also have a 2-3 record as they take on the Senate Defenders.
The UNTV Cup is now on its fifth season and is a charitable basketball game spearheaded by the Chairman and CEO of UNTV-BMPI Mr. Public Service Kuya Daniel Razon.
Public servants from different government agencies participate, vying for the prize for their chosen charities.
Aside from these exciting games, Caviteños will also have some world-class OPM entertainment from Carmella Ravanilla, Jason Fernandez, Marcelito Pomoy and Jireh Lim.
