BALANGA—The provincial government of Bataan gave recognition to a Bataan Peninsula State University nursing graduate who ranked second in the Nurse Licensure Examination.
Gianna Kalilah Roman was a beneficiary of the Iskolar ng Bataan program of the local government.
Roman was given a token of appreciation on Monday during the capitol’s flag raising ceremony.
She got score of 86.60 in the NLE. She is among the 48 newly registered nurses produced by BPSU.
“Her achievement is also a testament of BPSU’s vision to provide quality education. In this particular achievement, it is worth citing the concerted efforts of BPSU Balanga officials particularly in the College of Nursing and Midwifery,” BPSU president Dr. Greg Rodis said earlier.
“She serves as an inspiration to students in the six campuses of the university,” Rodis added.
The university gave Roman a certificate of recognition for her achievement.
BPSU has been producing board topnotchers in engineering, education, nursing and midwifery.
