Sandiganbayan has allowed Former Makati Mayor Junjun Binay to travel abroad.
Binay earlier asked the anti-graft court to let him go to the United States so he could bring his 6-year-old daugter Maria Kennedy to a doctor based in Los Angeles, California for an urgent medical consultation and treatment.
His daughter has a rare disease called staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome.
Sandiganbayan’s Third Division ruled that Binay may travel from August 15 to 24, 2016.
It has also ordered Binay to pay a travel bond worth P 608,000.
He is required to personally show up in court upon his return.
Binay has a hold departure order as he faces a graft case stemming from the alleged overpriced construction of Makati car park building.
